Louisville, KY

Why Louisville? Why start there? 

Short answer is opportunity - see below for a longer list of the developments over the last 24ish months. 

  • Ford announced on September 28, 2021 they are investing $5.8 BILLION in a new facility in KY making it the largest investment in Ford and KY’s history. With this announcement, Kentucky shatters every annual economic development record in the books for yearly investment totals and is on pace for its best job-creating year in history. This development alone will create 5,500+ jobs
  • Envision AESC to build a $2 billion EV battery plant in Bowling Green which is just south of Louisville as well. This plant will create another 2,000 jobs in the KY market. This second plant will make KY the signature state in terms of electric vehicle battery plants-we are now #1
  • Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Complex ($53 million) which will give Louisville the ability to host the track and field NCAA championship
  • Lynn Family Stadium ($65 million) - New soccer stadium for the KY semi pro men’s team and women’s pro soccer team which was chosen to host The Women’s Cup and welcomed 1 national and 2 international soccer teams into the city (PSG and Bayern Munich)
  • 122 room Avant Garde hotel backed by developers from Austin, TX that broke ground in September, 2021. ($31 million)
  • $20M project at River Ridge expected to add 1,000 jobs announced September 17th
  • $78 million NuLu mixed-use project to attract top tech talent
  • Tesla dealership - 30,970-square-foot facility
